Basa Recipe?
I've recently been buying basa from the supermarket, mostly because my choices are limited there and basa is the cheapest. Basa is a type of catfish with white, flaky flesh and a very mild taste. I've never cooked or had it before, but this recipe I've been modifying from allrecipes.com has been pretty decent and very simple to make. Ingredients: 4 basa fillets 1/8-1/4 cup of honey 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard 1.5 tablespoons of mayonnaise 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tablespoon of lemon juice Preheat the oven to 450 ˚F Mix mustard, mayonnaise, olive oil, honey, and lemon juice together in a separate bowl Coat the basa fillets in the sauce and lightly season them with black pepper, garlic powder*, thyme and parsley.
